Electro-Mechanical Service Technician:
We are a leading manufacturer of industrial equipment and machinery seeking a skilled Automation Service Technician to join our team. The technician will be responsible for installing automated systems, conduit, wire for industrial machinery as well as servicing existing equipment and systems.
Responsibilities:
- Install electrical conduit, wiring and associated components.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of wiring and components.
- Diagnose and repair automated systems including PLC's, VFD's, Industrial Ethernet Networks and Motion Drive Products.
- Aid in the development and implementation of new automated systems and projects.
- Communicate with project managers and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Preform preventative maintenance in customer facilities.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in electrical systems preferred.
- Experience in Studio 5000.
- Experience in diagnostics using Studio 5000.
- Experienced with Connected Components Workbench.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial electrical installation and diagnostics.
- Experience in conduit bending and wire routing.
- Strong knowledge of basic electrical practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
- Must have own tools and transportation.
Ability to commute/relocate:
Reliably commute or planning to relocate to Amarillo, TX before starting work (Required)
Experience:
Electrical experience: 3 years
PLC and VFD experience: 1 year
Industrial Ethernet experience: 1 year
Driver’s License (Preferred)
