Who: HealtheConnections, a respected national leader in providing health information exchange (HIE) services for 26 counties of NYS.
What: Hiring a new team member with a background in project coordination and account management to support our healthcare customers. As a member of our Customer Services team, you will provide advisory services and project coordination for health organizations—large health systems, private practices, labs, community-based organizations, public health departments, and others—to maintain positive working relationships and ensure satisfaction with HealtheConnections' services.
Why: We serve more than 1,500 health-related organizations in NYS who need our support on a regular basis. You will work with these organizations to understand their needs, support training and service rollout, and develop ongoing relationships as a trusted partner.
You'll facilitate project completion, anticipate their challenges and offer advice, support team outreach efforts, deliver training sessions or presentations, and ultimately drive results both for them and for HealtheConnections.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct outreach activities and provide advisement and support to your assigned accounts
- Support and coordinate technical projects between HealtheConnections' internal team, vendors, and customers
- Analyze and anticipate the business needs of your customers and identify project opportunities
- Drive usage and adoption of HealtheConnections services by following strategic roadmaps, providing excellent trainings, and developing strong partnerships with our customers
- Represent HealtheConnections at industry events and exhibitions, very occasionally held in the evening or on weekends
- Contribute to special projects or other initiatives as needed

Experience Needed:
- 4-year degree in healthcare, public health, communications, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Background in project coordination, training, and meeting facilitation required
- 5+ years of proven job experience in account management, sales, or related fields required, with strong preference given to those with healthcare, public health, or health IT experience.
- Exceptional verbal communication, written communication, organization, and interpersonal skills required
- Strong technical aptitude and a willingness to learn about technology and data required
- Background in healthcare environments strongly preferred
- Background or knowledge of health information technology a strong plus
- Local travel to visit customer locations or attend events are a small percentage of the job, and a reliable means of transportation is required

$70,000-$85,000 is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, and seniority.
