Description
The Automation Application Engineer provides full-line solutions that complement MULTIVAC’s packaging capabilities to meet customer automation needs. This role works closely with Sales, Package Application Engineers, Engineering, and third-party suppliers to develop line solutions from concept to fully quotable proposals.
Duties and Responsibilities-
Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and develop the optimal MULTIVAC line solution

Process assigned Requests for Quotation (RFQs), consulting with colleagues across engineering, project management, procurement, and the international parent company

Ensure the technical efficacy of proposed solutions, assisting with order clarification and addressing follow-up technical concerns

Develop line layout drawings to support customer proposals, trade show booth designs, and other sales-related initiatives
Education and Experience-
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field

Strong technical background and expertise in creating equipment application sales proposals, with the ability to discuss complex technical requirements

CRM and SAP experience preferred
