American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical Telemetry position on nights requiring cardiac tele strip interpretation skills and an active MA RN license.

Work in a 41-bed Medical Telemetry unit specializing in Cardiology
-
Care for patients with cardiac, respiratory, metabolic, psych, substance use disorder, GU, and GI conditions
-
Straight night shift schedule (7p-7a) with every other weekend required
-
Clinician to patient ratio of 1:5-6 on nights

Floating required to applicable units as needed
-
36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment

Uses EPIC EMR charting system
-
Active Massachusetts RN license required (no pending or conditional licenses accepted)

Current AHA BLS certification required
-
Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in one location plus 2 years of experience as a Traveler

Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips
-
Skilled in cardiac telemetry, cardiac drips, TR bands, and high-flow oxygen therapy

EPIC charting experience required

Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

Provide telemetry nursing care to a diverse medical-surgical patient population
