I. JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greets and directs patients and visitors to the proper locations for services.
II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Essential: Standing, sitting, seeing, hearing, speaking, carrying usual weight of 20 pounds; frequent gripping of an object.
- Continuous: carrying weight up to 20 pounds. Frequent: finger dexterity, lifting weight up to 20 pounds.
- Occasional: walking, stooping/bending, reaching below shoulder level.
- Operates, computer, telephone, copier/fax
III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions.
- Requires access to transportation to assist at multiple clinic sites
IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
B. EXPERIENCE:
- Experience to demonstrate:
o Skill and ability to operate various office equipment.
o Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing and understand verbal and written communications.
o Ability to operate automated systems.
- Experience in a position requiring communication skills with the public preferred.
