Our client is looking for a mid-level Graphic Designer to join their creative team. This role is central to how their brand shows up in the field - from retail shelves to trade show floors. You'll be a key partner in bringing our client's product line to life through sales collateral, point-of-purchase (POP) displays, merchandising materials, and event graphics.
The ideal candidate is a production-savvy, detail-obsessed designer who lives in InDesign and can move fluidly between Illustrator and Photoshop to execute polished, print-ready work across a fast-paced, high-volume creative environment.
On-site Requirements: On-site 5 days/week initially, transitioning to a hybrid schedule (1 remote day/week) after an initial ramp-up period.
Responsibilities:
- Design and produce sales collateral including sell sheets, catalogs, and product brochures.
- Create POP and merchandising materials - end caps, floor displays, and in-store signage.
- Develop graphics for trade shows and events, including banners, booth signage, backdrops, and promotional materials.
- Design Packaging for a variety of sku intensive products as needed using InDesign.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, working within brand guidelines while meeting tight production deadlines.
- Prepare accurate, print-ready files (bleeds, color modes, packaging dielines) for a variety of vendors and printers.
- Collaborate closely with product marketing, NPD, and brand teams to ensure creative aligns with go-to-market timelines.
- Maintain and organize design files, templates, and brand assets for team-wide consistency.
- Support photo retouching, image compositing, and light illustration work as needed.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional graphic design experience, ideally in a retail or CPG environment.
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe InDesign - this is the primary tool for the role.
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Solid understanding of print production: bleeds, dielines, and prepress requirements.
- A portfolio demonstrating experience with sales collateral, packaging, POP/merchandising, and event graphics.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to juggle competing deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to brand consistency.
- Ability to take direction well while also contributing creative ideas.
- A collaborative, team-first attitude.
Nice to Have:
- Experience designing for the power tools, hardware, or industrial products space.
- Familiarity with packaging structural files and working with print vendors.
