Join our dynamic team as a Fuel Tank Technician and travel the country where you will play a vital role in maintaining the safety, integrity, and efficiency of fuel storage systems. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on fuel tanks to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts, and other construction equipment for tank repairs, installations, or modifications.
- Read and interpret piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), technical manuals, and distributed control systems to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Conduct emergency response readiness drills and participate in safety protocol adherence to maintain a secure work environment.
- Repair and service equipment using mechanical knowledge, including piping systems, valves, pumps, and other petrol components.
- Follow strict safety procedures including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during all tasks to prevent accidents or injuries.
Experience
- CDLs and other licensing/certifications/ training deturmine pay rate.
- Experience is NOT required; we will train you.
- Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment such as cranes, excavators, or specialized pipeline maintenance tools is helpfull.
- Knowledge of safety protocols specific to outdoor work environments, including emergency response readiness.
- Construction experience related to pipeline installation or tank construction projects is highly desirable. Pay: $18.90 - $30.00 per hour
