The Role
Skillful America is seeking a polished, engaging, and highly dependable Preschool Enrichment Instructor to deliver our Early Enrichment Program at partner preschool and childcare locations.
This is not a traditional classroom teaching position.
You will lead structured 40-minute enrichment sessions using Skillful America's professionally developed curriculum and instructional framework. Curriculum, lesson structure, and program guidance are provided.
Your role is to bring those experiences to life.
We are looking for someone who can walk into a classroom, confidently lead a group of young children, capture their attention, and create an environment where children feel excited to participate, try something new, and succeed.
What You'll Do
- Deliver Skillful America's Early Enrichment curriculum with consistency and professionalism
- Lead dynamic, structured 40-minute enrichment sessions
- Create an engaging, encouraging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment
- Introduce children to new skills and experiences with enthusiasm and confidence
- Model strong communication, leadership, and positive behavior
- Adapt delivery appropriately for different preschool age groups
- Maintain Skillful America's instructional and professional standards
- Build positive relationships with children and partner-center staff
- Represent the Skillful America brand professionally at every location
Who We're Looking For

You are:
- Confident and engaging in front of a group
- Warm, energetic, and highly professional
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working with young children
- A strong communicator
- Able to lead both movement-based and skill-based activities
- Able to follow a structured curriculum while bringing personality and energy to each lesson
- Comfortable traveling to local partner locations
Previous experience in early childhood education, teaching, coaching, youth programming, enrichment instruction, or child development is strongly preferred.
Candidates must also be able to meet applicable background-check and partner-school requirements.
Compensation & Schedule
$45 per hour
Approximately 1–4 hours per week, with opportunities for additional classes as Skillful America expands into additional partner locations.
This is a selective, part-time instructional role designed for individuals who value meaningful work with children and can represent a growing enrichment education brand at a high professional standard.
