Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our facility supporting leading aircraft manufacturers. This role is ideal for an aerospace CNC machinist who has progressed into programming or a CNC programmer with at least one year of hands-on programming experience. The position will focus on 5-axis CNC machining and programming for aerospace components ranging from simple to medium complexity. The ideal candidate will have direct aerospace manufacturing experience working with titanium, Inconel, and aluminum.
Responsibilities
- Develop and modify CNC programs for aerospace components using Siemens NX 2506 / NX Design Center.
- Program and support 5-axis CNC machining operations involving simple to medium-complexity parts.
- Translate engineering drawings, models, and manufacturing requirements into efficient CNC machining programs.
- Work closely with machinists, engineers, and manufacturing personnel to optimize machining processes.
- Review toolpaths, cutting strategies, tooling, feeds, and speeds to improve quality and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot programming and machining issues and make necessary program adjustments.
- Support production of precision aerospace components while maintaining strict quality and dimensional requirements.
- Work with difficult-to-machine aerospace materials, including titanium, Inconel, and aluminum.
- Ensure programs and machining processes meet aerospace manufacturing and customer requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Aerospace CNC programming experience preferred.
- Candidates with CNC machining experience and at least 1 year of CNC programming experience will be considered.
- Hands-on experience with 5-axis CNC machining/programming.
- Aerospace manufacturing experience is required.
- Experience machining titanium, Inconel, and aluminum in an aerospace environment.
- Experience with Siemens NX, preferably NX 2506 / NX Design Center.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and 3D models.
- Strong understanding of CNC machining processes, tooling, feeds, speeds, and toolpath development.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality precision components.
Preferred Background
- Experience supporting aircraft or aerospace OEMs such as Gulfstream or similar aerospace customers.
- Combination of CNC machining and CNC programming experience.
- Experience in a small, hands-on aerospace machine shop environment.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with machinists and engineering personnel.

Pay: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour
