US Parts and Equipment, LLC is looking for an experienced, motivated, and organized Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our truck and heavy equipment yard.
This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who knows heavy equipment, takes pride in keeping a yard running efficiently, and enjoys working with a team. If you're a problem-solver with a strong work ethic and a passion for trucks and machinery, we'd like to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily yard operations and ensure the efficient movement of trucks, heavy equipment, and materials.
- Supervise the safe organization, storage, and overall condition of equipment throughout the yard.
- Coordinate with drivers, operators, mechanics, and other team members to ensure equipment is available and ready when needed.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment, inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
- Monitor equipment condition and identify maintenance or operational issues before they become larger problems.
- Ensure all employees follow company safety procedures and applicable safety regulations.
- Lead, train, and motivate yard personnel while maintaining a productive and positive work environment.
- Troubleshoot day-to-day operational and equipment issues and help coordinate solutions.
- Work closely with management and other departments to support transportation, logistics, and overall company operations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard at all times.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in yard management, fleet management, heavy equipment, trucking, or a related field.
- Strong working knowledge of trucks, heavy machinery, and basic maintenance requirements.
- Proven leadership and team-management skills.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work outdoors in a physically demanding environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong attention to safety and knowledge of workplace safety practices.
- Valid driver’s license required; CDL is a plus.
- Dependable, hands-on, and willing to lead by example.
