Are you looking for flexible part-time work where you can help people in your community? As an On-Call Substitute Driver with NOTA, you’ll provide safe, reliable, and compassionate transportation for seniors, individuals with disabilities, veterans, and community members who rely on us to maintain their independence.

Schedule & Availability:
This is a substitute position with opportunities throughout the week.
- Up to 25 hours per week based on operational needs
- Shifts available 7 days a week between 5:00 AM – 10:00 PM
- One guaranteed 8-hour shift per week
- Two additional on-call availability shifts per week
- If you are not called in during your on-call availability, you still receive a $50 stipend for being available
What You’ll Do:
- Safely transport passengers throughout NOTA’s service area.
- Provide respectful and compassionate assistance to passengers who may need extra support.
- Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, walkers, wheelchairs, and mobility devices.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding routes, delays, and passenger needs.
- Follow safety procedures and traffic laws.
- Complete vehicle checks, cleaning, and fueling as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service and create a positive passenger experience.
What We’re Looking For:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid chauffeur’s license with a clean driving record (or ability to obtain)
- Reliable and dependable attendance
- Patient, compassionate, and respectful attitude
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and follow safety procedures
- Familiarity with local roads is a plus
Requirements:

✔ Pass background check
✔ Reliable transportation to/from work
✔ Eligible to work in the United States
