Key Responsibilities
- This is an onsite role at our NJ Control Center - this is not a work-from-home position.
- First on-scene for overnight technical emergencies: monitoring feeds, network connectivity workstations and servers.
- Diagnosis of network and data feeds- manage escalation to ticket resolution.
- Execute power contingency procedures: UPS response, generator deployment and transfer, and restoration of utility power.
- Author and maintain runbooks for every recurring incident type: symptoms, diagnostic steps, fix and escalation paths.
- Test runbooks for usability.
- Conduct primary research for IT systems innovations and new AI automation opportunities that will improve the company’s IT suite.
- This position is not monitoring screens or patients and does not encompass EKG technical interpretation.
- Position includes weekends on a rotation schedule.
Secondary Responsibilities
The Night Systems Manager will be expected to take part in administrative support as needed to include:
- Own the overnight schedule. When someone calls out, calling backfill replacements.
- Complete the night operations checklist; every item done or annotated.
- Operational and HR QA checks
- Low-lift equipment boxing and labeling support
- Other administration tasks not described above as needed.
The Overnight Systems Technology Manager core role is technical: diagnosing and restoring the systems that keep monitoring live. Escalating to vendors, carriers or internal leadership only when the problem is genuinely beyond an on-site fix. Documentation is a defining deliverable of this role: Converting every fix into a runbook so that Digital Diagnostic’s overnight operation maintains resilience. High autonomy with strong IT troubleshooting skills required.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
