About the Role: Empire FL Professional Cleaning is currently seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and hardworking Evening School Cleaner to join our team in Lakeland. Please note that this position is scheduled to begin in August. Schedule:
- Days: Monday to Friday
- Hours: Evening Shift, 5 hours per day.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Training Pay: $14.00 per hour (Paid Training).
- Regular Pay: $16.00 per hour (Immediately after the training period is completed).
- Fast Pay: Weekly payments.
- Paid Holidays: You will receive paid time off for Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day (December 25th), and New Year’s Day (January 1st). (After 6 months off employment)
Job Description & Daily Responsibilities: As a School Cleaner, you will be responsible for ensuring the facility is spotless and ready for the next school day. Your daily tasks will include:
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors in classrooms, hallways, and common areas.
- Thoroughly cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking restrooms.
- Emptying trash receptacles and replacing liners.
- Wiping down and disinfecting desks, tables, and high-touch surfaces.
- Organizing cleaning carts and maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies.
- Ensuring all doors are locked and the building is secure at the end of the shift.
Requirements:
- Language: Must speak Spanish (Spanish is required for this position).
- Experience: Previous commercial or school cleaning experience is a plus, but we will provide full training.
- Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to the 33809 ZIP code area.
- Physical Ability: Ability to stand, bend, and walk for the duration of the 5-hour shift and lift up to 25-30 lbs if necessary.
- Must be punctual, trustworthy, and able to work independently.
