ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Administer onsite and community-based HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) and STI (Sexually Transmitted Infection) testing services as directed by NAP Prevention Procedure Manual and Prevention Coordinator
Facilitate sexual health assessments, education, counseling, and referrals as a part of testing services
Assist in the coordination of HIV confirmatory and STI treatment processes for clients, focusing on access and linkage to appropriate laboratory, healthcare, supportive, and/or treatment services
Provide active referral services for testing clients found to be living with HIV to improve HIV care and treatment services at key points of entry and direct clients living with HIV to needed core medical and/or support services
Assist NAP in fulfilling testing and outreach schedule – which may include morning or evening testing and occasional weekend outreach activities
Establish and maintain partnerships with community organizations, community leaders, and groups that support health and wellness in the Lincoln community
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:
Represent NAP in the community for outreach efforts
Complete in-house phlebotomy training (if needed) and complete venipuncture blood collection procedures as needed for confirmatory testing
Attend required NAP events as directed by NAP leadership
Assist with other duties as assigned
Complete continued education as directed by funding sources and NAP leadership

Must possess good computer skills
Preferred:
Fluent and proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in Spanish
Experience in working in healthcare, community outreach, education or public health
Working knowledge of HIV and STIs
Experience with point-of-care testing and/or phlebotomy

Pay: $40,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
