Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Life Sciences & Technology Recruiter to join our recruiting team. This role is responsible for identifying, attracting, screening, and presenting qualified candidates for contract, contract-to-hire, and direct-hire opportunities within the life sciences and technology sectors.
The Recruiter will work closely with internal Account Managers to fulfill client hiring needs by building strong talent pipelines and delivering high-quality candidates in a timely manner. Success in this role requires strong sourcing and screening capabilities, relationship-building skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced staffing environment.
Responsibilities
Recruitment & Candidate Engagement
- Source, identify, and engage qualified candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, networking, and other recruiting channels.
- Recruit for positions across life sciences and technology disciplines, including biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, clinical research, medical devices, software engineering, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, data analytics, and related fields.
- Conduct candidate screenings and interviews to assess technical qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
- Present qualified candidates to internal Account Managers for client submission.
- Maintain an active pipeline of candidates for current and future hiring needs.
Candidate Relationship Management
- Build and maintain relationships with active and passive candidates.
- Guide candidates through the interview and placement process.
- Coordinate interview scheduling and candidate communications.
- Manage offer discussions and onboarding activities as needed.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
Recruiting Operations
- Maintain accurate candidate records and activity tracking within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Ensure timely follow-up with candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Meet established recruiting metrics, activity goals, and placement objectives.
- Stay current on industry trends, labor market conditions, and emerging skill sets within the life sciences and technology sectors.
- Support recruiting initiatives and talent pipeline development efforts.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of recruiting experience in a staffing agency, search firm, or talent acquisition environment.
- Experience recruiting within life sciences, healthcare, technology, and/or engineering,
- Strong candidate sourcing and interviewing skills.
- Experience utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, and online sourcing tools.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Experience recruiting for biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device, software engineering, IT, or technical roles.
- Ability to evaluate technical and scientific skill sets.
- Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously and meet recruiting goals.
Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
