Join Our Growing Multidisciplinary Pediatric Therapy Team
Compassionate ABA & Therapeutic Services is a family-centered multidisciplinary practice providing ABA, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy services to children and families across Northern Virginia.
We are seeking a compassionate, collaborative, and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing pediatric therapy team.
Our clinic offers a supportive OT-led environment with multidisciplinary collaboration, access to sensory-based treatment spaces, and opportunities to build meaningful relationships with children and families. What You’ll Do
- Implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Provide direct pediatric therapy services targeting:
- Fine motor development
- Gross motor skills
- Sensory processing and regulation
- Activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Functional independence
- Support children in increasing participation across home, school, clinic, and community environments
- Collaborate closely with Occupational Therapists, BCBAs, SLPs, caregivers, and interdisciplinary providers
- Document session notes and progress accurately
- Participate in collaborative treatment planning and team meetings
- Provide caregiver support and education to encourage skill carryover at home

Qualifications
- Current COTA certification and state licensure (Required)
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Experience with autism spectrum disorders, developmental delays, and/or sensory integration preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Organized and able to manage documentation requirements
- Compassionate, patient, and team-oriented mindset
- Commitment to professionalism, ethical practice, and HIPAA compliance
