POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for safe equipment operation, quality production of product, and meeting production goals. The essence of the role is to operate machinery, set-up machine, and trouble-shoot machine for a waterjet or laser machine.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate a variety of machines
-
Responsible for loading and unloading material to be set to measurements given by software systems or blueprints

Accurately read calibrated measurement instruments (caliper, tape measures, etc.) and manually program parts to be cut.

Rotate and cross-train into all production operations.

Clean and deburring parts, label and coordinate cut parts for the next customer in a professional manner

Perform minor technical repairs or adjustments on machines

Organize and prioritize their workload based on business needs

Take all needed precautions to maintain all safety requirements

Able to use sound judgment when presented with acceptable/unacceptable part characteristics

Takes ownership of their work and prides themselves in delivering a high quality product
QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to handle repetitive lifting while using proper lifting techniques daily

Must have previous experience in similar role

Must have prior experience in reading blueprints and adjusting machine to necessary settings

Ability to lift-up to 50 lbs. comfortably
-
Ability to work overhead, and standing up constantly throughout the day
