Job Summary
As a Firehouse Subs Crew Member, you will be the heart of our fast-paced restaurant environment, delivering exceptional food service and customer satisfaction. You’ll engage with guests, prepare delicious meals, operate POS systems, and maintain a clean and welcoming workspace. Your energy and enthusiasm will help create a positive dining experience for every guest.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items following established recipes and safety standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately
- Manage food service customer orders efficiently, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, kitchen equipment, and dining areas
- Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and manage retail sales transactions
- Follow food safety protocols and ensure proper food handling procedures are adhered to at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and food service environments
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Strong time management skills to handle high-volume service periods seamlessly
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and food industry regulations
