We are a small, award winning & family-owned brewery and bar-service restaurant that is just 20 minutes from Midlothian, and 30 minutes from downtown Richmond. We're family-owned and part of a little compound with a wedding venue, overnight cottages, bakery, coffee cafe, all on historic land. It should feel like an escape here, both in the scenery and also from the norm of restaurant life.
We are currently looking for part time help in the kitchen that can range from weekday to weekend. Kitchen prep experience is preferred, but with the right person we are always willing to train on the job. So long as you have the willingness to learn and grow, this will be a great place for you.
We are extremely proud of our small family here, and what we are able to do together, so someone with good social skills and an excitement for food and beer is a huge plus!
- Previous experience in food service or culinary roles is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and dietary department standards is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A passion for cooking and an eagerness to learn new skills within the food industry.
PAY: Everyone has a base hourly, AND receives tip-share. We pool tips, and every employee gets a guaranteed minimum. Bad weather? Winter season? Random slow day? We make sure you never drop below your minimum, and will make up the difference. We host ample private events on top of service that keeps it all flowing, and sharpens your skills.
