Machine Operator Plastic Extrusion
**Experienced Extrusion Operators: 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift available
Pay based on experience
$2500 sign on bonus (paid $500 after 90 days, $1000 after 6 months, $1000 after one year)
Relocation assistance will be considered for experienced candidates

Responsibilities:

Safety mindset is required. Operating safely is of paramount importance to our company and our employees.

Set up, operate, and maintain plastic extrusion machinery.

Maintain continuous machine operations by following directions in production of orders, trials, samples, and troubleshooting.

Monitor process conditions, equipment, and control systems including software to run lines.

Move materials and equipment by operating a forklift

Complete scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of machines and tools.

Maintain overall cleanliness of the equipment and extrusion area of the site.

Obtain needed materials before and during runs and before change overs

Notify appropriate personnel of low inventories of materials and parts

Other related duties as assigned.
You should be proficient in:

Plastic Extrusion Experience

Injection Molding Experience

Blow Molding Experience
Machines & technologies you'll use:
Skills & Qualifications

Stable work history required.

High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
-
Experience in manufacturing or industrial settings required. 5 years minimum experience in extrusion.

Availability to work overtime and on Saturdays as needed.

Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (including but not limited to lifting up to 55 pounds and moving up to 250 pounds, frequent overhead work, bend & squat & stoop, and climb stairs as well as standing and/or walking for long periods of time).

Able to wear all Personal Protective Equipment for safety and environmental regulations. May require being clean shaven.
