Overview
We are looking for dedicated, dog-loving individuals to join our team at Camp Bow Wow Coppell! We are a fast-paced dog day care and boarding facility that takes pride in our work and provides premium services. You will be responsible for monitoring dogs in play group, ensuring a safe and clean environment. Additionally, our Camp Counselors perform other duties such as cleaning, dog baths, one-on-one enrichment with our dogs, and customer relations. Our play groups are separated by size and paid training will be provided.
Applicants must be reliable, able to be on their feet for long periods of time, be comfortable in yards with up to 30 dogs, and most importantly, love animals!
We are open 365 days per year, so working holidays and weekends is a MUST. This is not a seasonal position- we are looking for individuals who are seeking long term employment!
Scheduling is flexible- we have shifts beginning at 6:45am, 9am, and 1pm. Shifts end at 7:30pm. Shifts are typically 4-6 hours.
There is room for advancement as well! If you are succeeding in your initial position, we have shift lead positions available, as well as front desk.

Requirements
- Previous experience in pet care preferred but not essential
- Caring, conscientious, confident, loving and patient demeanor with dogs of all breeds and sizes
- Ability to handle the routine physical requirements: On your feet most of the time, moving at a brisk pace, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, squatting, kneeling and stooping
- Ability to comfortably work in proximity to the inevitable by-products of an animal care environment, i.e. pet waste
- Initiative – learning and knowing what to do and doing it without constant supervision
- Ability to work individually and in cooperation with others
- You must be dependable and punctual, have some weekend and holiday availability and reliable transportation
- Must love dogs! :)
