Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Data Solution Architect with 20+ years of IT experience to lead the architecture and design of a large-scale enterprise data platform modernization initiative. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Azure Data Platform, Microsoft Fabric, Medallion Architecture, and Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM). This role will drive end-to-end solution architecture, data governance, integration strategy, and enterprise data modernization across multiple business platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end solution architecture for enterprise data platform initiatives.
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms using Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Delta Lake, and Medallion Architecture.
- Define enterprise integration patterns, data flows, and architecture standards.
- Lead architecture governance, design reviews, and technical decision-making.
- Collaborate with business, product, engineering, and infrastructure teams to deliver enterprise data solutions.
- Establish best practices for data governance, security, compliance, metadata, and data quality.
- Mentor technical teams and drive enterprise architecture excellence.
Mandatory Skills:
- 20+ years of overall IT experience.
- Strong experience as a Solution Architect or Enterprise Data Architect.
- Mandatory Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) domain experience.
- Healthcare or Pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Hands-on expertise with:
- Microsoft Fabric
- Azure Synapse Analytics
- OneLake
- Delta Lake
- Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold)
- Enterprise Data Platform Architecture.
- Data Warehousing, ETL/ELT, SQL.
- Enterprise Integration Patterns & API-driven Architecture.
- Data Governance, Data Quality, Security & Compliance.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and architecture governance experience.
Pay: $175,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
Experience:
- Healthcare or Pharmaceutical domain: 8 years (Required)
- Azure Data Platform : 10 years (Required)
- Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM): 8 years (Preferred)
- Medallion Architecture : 10 years (Required)
