POSITION SUMMARY:
The Warehouse Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient storage and timely shipment of products at Jackson’s. Responsibilities include supervising warehouse technicians and associates, maintaining on-time delivery, managing inventory, and overseeing shipping documentation. As a subject matter expert in receiving and inventory control, the Supervisor ensures meticulous documentation of received goods. Key duties also involve safety compliance, forklift operation, team training, and collaboration with the Plant Manager on quality process improvements. The role fosters a positive team-focused culture aligned with Jackson’s principles, contributing to facility priorities and providing technical leadership for logistics and ERP systems. Upholding GMPs, food safety processes, and compliance with health and safety regulations are central to this position.

Responsible for supervision of the warehouse technicians and leads to meet Jacksons standards of on-time delivery, inventory management and shipping paperwork.

Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders such as employees, carriers, and clients.

Ensure all team tasks are completed on a timely basis through developing and implementing processes and procedures to organize and prioritize the team’s overall workload.

Become a subject matter expert in all areas related to receiving and inventory control of the warehouse.

Ensure all required information is documented and forms are completed for received goods.

Comply with all established safety policies and procedures; promote and maintain safety awareness and identify and resolve potential safety issues.

Train and mentor warehouse associates and technicians on established process and inventory management best practices.

Complete forklift job training and use forklift as necessary.

Work with the Director of Ops to establish and promote quality process improvements.

Own additional projects and tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Manager

Follow recognized GMPs and other food safety processes and ensure team compliance to established health and safety regulations.

Contribute to all top priorities for the facility and assist where needed.

Support and sustain the Jackson’s cultural principles and ensure the culture of warehouse team is aligned.

Provide technical leadership to complex problems that arise for logistics, inventory, and ERP system.

Maintain a positive and team focused attitude. Mentor and assist the development of the warehouse team

Support our food safety, quality, and personal safety programs, and help the team on the floor and communicate any concerns to management.

Required Experience:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; one to three years related experience in food manufacturing or related manufacturing environment and/or training; or equivalent combination.
4+ years’ experience in a supervisory position is preferred.
Current forklift operator’s license.
