About Strive Kitchen + Bar
Strive Kitchen + Bar is a modern restaurant and bar dedicated to serving quality food, handcrafted cocktails, and creating memorable experiences for every guest. In addition to daily restaurant service, we host private events, catering, and special functions throughout the year. We're looking for a reliable, motivated Line Cook who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in producing consistently great food.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Set up and stock stations before each shift
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment
- Assist with food prep, inventory, and kitchen organization
- Ensure all food is prepared and plated consistently
- Work efficiently during busy lunch, dinner, and event service
- Support catering, private events, and special functions as needed
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house team members
Qualifications
- Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Dependable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Food safety knowledge is a plus
