Responsibilities

- Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and supports individual learning styles.
- Facilitate age-appropriate activities that encourage social skills, emotional regulation, creativity, and cognitive development.
- Collaborate with families to discuss children's progress, address individual needs such as special education or early intervention services, and foster open communication.
- Manage classroom routines efficiently, including lesson planning, transitions, and maintaining organized learning materials.
- Monitor and assess children's developmental milestones through observation and standardized testing when applicable.
- Ensure compliance with childcare regulations and promote child welfare through attentive supervision and health protocols.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
- Experience in classroom management, lesson planning, and curriculum development across preschool levels.
- Proven ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds, including toddlers and those requiring special education or early intervention support.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods, daycare operations, private school environments, and classroom experience in early childhood settings.
- Ability to implement behavior management strategies that foster positive behavior and emotional growth.
- Competence in teaching physical education activities and integrating literacy education into daily routines.
