Rising Tide manages a carefully-kept portfolio of short-term vacation rentals across Cape Ann (Gloucester, Rockport, and nearby). We're looking for a sharp, reliable local to be our eyes on the ground between guests.
This is flexible, paid-per-visit contract work. You'll claim inspection jobs near you, walk the home, and confirm it's ready for the next guest. Property visits take about 20 to 90 minutes and are typically batched in groups of 2-5 properties per trip.
On every visit, you cover three things:
- Perfection: the home should look flawless: staged, spotless, guest-ready. You're the last set of eyes before anyone checks in.
- Maintenance: flag anything worn, leaking, or heading toward a repair, with a quick photo, so we fix it before a guest notices.
- Supplies and inventory: confirm the essentials are stocked and note anything running low.
What we're looking for:
- Detail-oriented and genuinely reliable. This is about trust.
- Local to Cape Ann with your own transportation.
- Daytime availability, especially weekends (most turnovers land Wednesday to Sunday).
- Takes initiative and goes above-and-beyond to ensure a high standard.
- A general sense for home upkeep (handy, property, hospitality, or home-watch experience all welcome).
- This is a 1099 independent contractor role; we collect a W-9 and perform a background check.
