When you get in front of an owner who is ready to build a business that actually performs, the conversation is short. We are looking for someone to find those owners at scale, nationally.
The Opportunity
This is a ground-floor sales leadership role at a firm with a proven platform, a defined niche, and national ambition. You will own the full revenue development motion: building a prospect pipeline, leading discovery conversations, co-developing proposals with our advisory team, and closing engagements. You will not inherit a warm book. You will build one.
A BDR will be added to the team and will report to you once in place, shifting top-of-funnel activity off your plate as the pipeline grows. The path from here is sales leadership.
What You Will Build
- A national pipeline of owner-operated contracting businesses ready for the Denali platform
- A referral network of partners such as advisors, business coaches, and others who serve the same owners
- A repeatable sales process, from first outreach through signed engagement, that a BDR can eventually run alongside you
- A presence at industry events and trade associations where our clients spend their time
What We Are Looking For
- 5 to 8 years selling professional services to owners or senior leadership of mid-sized, privately held businesses
- Comfortable building from zero: prospecting, outreach, discovery, proposal, and close without a team doing it for you
- Niche or vertical market experience strongly preferred
- Strong discovery skills and high integrity. The owners we serve have built something real. We take that seriously.
- CRM-disciplined and accountable. You track your pipeline and your results.
Compensation
Base salary $85K to $100K depending on experience, plus commission. OTE $150K+.
This is a role for someone who wants to build something, not manage something that already exists.
