Lodging Host Hotel Corp is looking for a General Manager to oversee all staff, budgets, and operations of our Cambria Hotel & Conference Center in Northlake, TX.
General Manager responsibilities include formulating overall strategy, managing people, and enforcing company policies. To be successful in this role, you should be a thoughtful leader and a confident decision-maker, helping our people develop and be productive, while ensuring our profits are on the rise. Ultimately, you will help our company grow and thrive.
Hours in general are Full Time, Monday - Friday, but may vary as needed by the hotel. Must have the ability to relocate if necessary.

Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally

Direct the employee assessment process

Prepare regular reports for upper management

Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations

Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)

Experience:
-
Two years experience in hotel-related management with at least one year of hotel-related sales preferred.
Skills

Ability to manage up to 30 employees

General knowledge of hotel accounting

Experience in planning and budgeting

Knowledge of business process and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.)
