American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of experience for a night shift position at a Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital in a short-term acute care setting.

Short-term acute care hospital with 733 staffed beds, designated as a Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital
-
RRT unit supporting both adult and pediatric ICU patients
-
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 18:00–06:00

Every other weekend required
-
Holiday coverage is required; only one holiday off may be approved per contract
-
Floating within scope to meet facility needs, including to sister campuses, may be required
-
Block scheduling is not available

Charting via Epic (experience required)

No on-call requirement

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required

Minimum 2 years of RRT experience

Comfortable working with both adult and pediatric ICU patients

Epic EMR experience required

State or compact RRT license required at time of consideration; pending licenses are not accepted

SSN and DOB required for consideration

License required if applicable

Solid black or black-and-white scrubs required

Pre-start orientation modules must be completed prior to the start date (approximately 4–10 hours)

RTO is limited to a maximum of 4 days per contract, at manager's discretion

Candidates residing within 50 miles of the main campus are not eligible for this travel position

Travelers who have previously worked at this facility must have been gone for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler

Night shift travelers may extend up to twice before being required to leave for a minimum of 6 months prior to returning

Any missed shifts may require a makeup shift at the department's discretion
