As an Ambulatory Surgical Unit Assistant, you will participate in the delivery of patient care alongside an encouraging and mentoring RN . In this exciting role, you will receive on-the-job training to become familiar with specific department procedures, medical terminology, equipment and sterilization procedures. As assigned, you will assist with numerous tasks throughout the department, whether interacting directly with patients and families, stocking su pplies or fulfilling equipment maintenance needs .
