BCBA Position Overview
The BCBA will provide supervision, assessment, and treatment planning for children receiving ABA therapy services. This includes conducting FBAs, overseeing RBTs, and implementing evidence-based interventions.
Services are primarily clinic-based, with some in-home ABA sessions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
- Develop and supervise ABA treatment plans
- Supervise and train RBTs/Behavior Technicians
- Analyze data and adjust programs accordingly
- Provide parent training and caregiver support
- Ensure compliance with BACB and ethical standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Qualifications
- Active BCBA certification (required)
- Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or related field
- Experience in autism spectrum disorder (ASD) services preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience supervising RBTs (preferred)
