As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Driver Patrol Vehicle Checks in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading technology data center location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel at a technology data center by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the data center campus, interior spaces, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.

Monitor access control points, verify credentials and visitor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate security-related logs and reports.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as directed.

Assist with maintaining an orderly environment around sensitive technology infrastructure while following confidentiality requirements and Allied Universal procedures.
Minimum Requirements:

Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
