Music Teachers – Piano, Strings, Guitar, Voice, and Drums
Music Institute of North Texas is an established music school located in Frisco, Texas, with an expanding campus in Prosper. We are currently seeking qualified and dedicated music educators to join our faculty for the following disciplines:
- Piano
- Violin
- Viola
- Guitar
- Voice
- Drums
Instructors typically teach one primary instrument, allowing for focused and high-quality instruction.
Responsibilities
- Provide weekly private instruction on a consistent schedule
- Prepare students for two annual recitals
- Support student participation in additional events, including festivals and competitive programs
- Integrate music theory into weekly lessons
- Prepare students for the Texas State Theory Examination
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in the discipline to be taught (required)
- Experience teaching children and adults
- Ability to teach students at all proficiency levels, from beginner through advanced
- Demonstrated commitment to music education
- Strong communication skills with students and parents
- Professional, patient, and adaptable teaching approach
