American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Medical-Surgical ICU position requiring at least 1-2 years of experience, ACLS and BLS certifications, and a TX or compact RN license.

Medical-Surgical ICU setting in a hospital environment

Patient ratio of 1:2

Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)

Epic EMR used; experience preferred but not required

13-week contract

Active TX or compact RN license required

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Minimum 1-2 years of ICU nursing experience required

Travel nursing experience preferred

Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Candidates must reside outside of the following TX counties to be eligible: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris

Travel pairs or groups will not be accepted for this position

Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before working as a traveler

No more than 3 days of RTO will be approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation

Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible
