Duties:
- Provide dental hygiene services to patients, including cleanings, oral exams, and patient education.
- Assist dentists in procedures, including four-handed dentistry and pediatric dentistry.
- Take vital signs, including blood pressure and temperature.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize medical imaging technology to diagnose and treat oral health issues.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of dental anatomy and its implications on patient care.
- Collaborate with the dental team to create personalized treatment plans for patients.
- Promote oral health through patient education and preventative care strategies.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist in a general dentistry or pediatric dentistry setting is recommended. New Graduates are welcomed.
- Proven track record of providing high-quality patient care and meeting productivity standards.
- Familiarity with dental office software and electronic medical records (EMRs).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of dental assisting procedures and dental office operations.
- Proficiency in taking vital signs and understanding their implications on patient care.
- Ability to work effectively in a four-handed dentistry environment.
- Experience working with pediatric patients and understanding their unique oral health needs.
- In-depth knowledge of dental anatomy and its implications on patient care.
- Familiarity with medical records and HIPAA regulations.
- Ability to use medical imaging technology to diagnose and treat oral health issues.
- Certification in HIPAA compliance and medical imaging procedures.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
