Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Cleaning Professional to maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of residential and commercial spaces. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation
- Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure health standards are met or exceeded
- Use appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment safely and effectively for tasks such as carpet cleaning, floor care, and surface cleaning
- Handle laundry tasks with care, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, polishing, and applying floor care treatments
- Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or equipment while adhering to safety protocols
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service
- Follow established janitorial and custodial procedures to ensure consistent quality across all assignments
- Keep work areas organized and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly
- Demonstrate outdoor work experience when required for cleaning exterior surfaces or outdoor spaces
Experience
- Prior experience in residential or commercial cleaning is highly desirable
- Familiarity with cleaning surfaces such as carpets, tiles, hardwood floors, and countertops
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment including vacuums, buffers, steam cleaners, and pressure washers
- Experience with janitorial or custodial duties in various environments is preferred
- Strong time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with physical endurance
- Excellent client communication skills to understand needs and deliver exceptional service
