Garden Center Team Member
We’re looking for a motivated, hardworking team member to join our garden center. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working with people, staying busy, and taking pride in keeping the store looking great.
Responsibilities include:
- Unloading trucks and receiving incoming material
- Pricing, organizing, and placing merchandise throughout the garden center
- Keeping displays, inventory, and sales areas clean and well organized
- Assisting customers with product questions and providing friendly, knowledgeable service
- Operating our POS system to process sales, returns, and customer transactions
- Restocking products and helping maintain accurate inventory
- Loading customer purchases and assisting with general garden center tasks
- Working as part of a team to keep operations moving during busy periods
What we’re looking for:
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, physical environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials
- Prior experience in a garden center, nursery, landscaping, greenhouse, retail, or similar environment is strongly preferred
- POS or retail experience is a plus
This is not a sit-behind-the-counter job. We’re looking for someone who is willing to work hard, take initiative, and get things done.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
