American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring strong orthopedic, total joints, scope, and neuro surgical experience along with call coverage.

Work in the Surgery unit of a hospital setting

Requires strong experience with orthopedic, total joints, scopes, and neuro procedures

Primary shift schedule of 0630-1700
-
Call requirements include 5p-7p call twice per week

2-3 holiday call shifts per contract (11p-7a, 7a-3p, or 3p-11p)

Weekend call required 2-3 times per contract, covering 7a-7p or 7p-7a on Saturday or Sunday

Active Georgia or Compact RN license required in hand

Minimum of 18 months of RN experience required

Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility, as local candidates are not accepted

Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility

RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days if not falling on or near a holiday, or 3 days if falling on or near a holiday

Only one holiday RTO request is permitted per contract

Holiday RTO days must be spread out rather than requested consecutively
