Job Title: 3k Head Teacher
Location: Flushing
Hours: 8:00am-4:00pm Monday – Friday
Responsibilities:
Participating in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum that is aligned with the NYC DOE Common Core guidelines.
Effective communication with families and co-teachers
The ability to work well in a team setting and work respectfully and cooperatively with a Teacher Assistant.
Directly supervises children at all times and treats each child with dignity and respect, recognizing the cultural and socio-economic diversity of the population.
Ability to adhere to licensing and DOE guidelines
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field required
Experience teaching in an Early Childhood program a plus
