Job Description
Position: Finance Controller
Job Summary: Manage the financials through QuickBooks, tracking grant programs, expenses and payroll.
Salary: 40 hours, Monday – Friday. Starting pay is $23-$25 per hour with performance increase yearly. Participation in the 401K and benefits available after 30 days.
Essential Job Functions:
- Understanding of QuickBooks, desktop version preferrable.
- Ability to gather statistics and information for grant reports.
- Understanding of Microsoft Office.
- When necessary, attend trainings or conferences.
- Keep Executive Director informed of project progress.
Experience: At least 1 year of QuickBooks experience.
Knowledge: Basic understanding of grants and nonprofits preferrable.
Skills: Bookkeeping preferrable or a good understanding of accounting.
Abilities: Need to be able to multi-task and be organized, work well with others, and work semi- independently to accomplish the task.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
