Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Water Technician to join our team in the restoration industry. This role is essential for providing high-quality services related to water damage restoration, mold remediation, and fire restoration. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. IICRC certification and valid Driver's License.
Duties
As a Water Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Assessing water damage and determining appropriate restoration methods.
- Utilizing power tools and hand tools to perform water extraction and drying processes.
- Conducting mold remediation and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Cleaning and restoring affected areas, including carpet cleaning and structural repairs.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient project completion.
- Maintaining equipment and ensuring all tools are clean and in good working condition.
- Documenting work performed and communicating with clients regarding the restoration process.
Experience
Candidates should have experience or knowledge in the following areas:
- Mold remediation techniques and safety protocols.
- Familiarity with the restoration industry practices and standards.
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools effectively.
- Understanding of water damage restoration processes, including drying techniques.
- Experience in fire restoration or asbestos abatement is a plus but not required.
