Position: Brand + Events Manager

Compensation: $40,000 and bonuses 50%+ of base salary

Surefire Coffee Co. is looking for a Brand + Events Manager to own our brand presence and revenue-generating relationships. This person will create content that attracts partners and clients, build outbound pipelines that convert to catering and event bookings, and see those bookings through to flawless execution. At Surefire, brand and revenue aren't separate functions — they feed each other.
Areas of Accountability
Social Media + Content
- Manage all Surefire social channels with heavy investment in TikTok; adapt channel mix as trends dictate
- Develop and execute a weekly content calendar
- Create original content — photo, video, short-form — across all six locations
- Highlight culture, product, team, and community to build brand affinity
- Capture and post event/catering content in real time for social proof
- Respond to all inbound social messages; actively engage with followers and community
- Track performance metrics across platforms and adjust strategy monthly
Brand Partnerships + Outreach
- 5+ brand-building outreach touches per week — collabs, co-branded activations, pop-ups, gifting campaigns, sponsorships
- 5+ sales-focused outreach touches per week — event planners, corporate offices, venues, and other booking sources
- Note: Outbound volume will be higher in the ramp-up phase and will naturally scale back as active events and catering jobs increase
- Develop and manage both pipelines from first touch to close or handoff
- Serve as the external face of Surefire for partnership and sales conversations
- Convert brand relationships into paid catering/event engagements where possible
Catering + Event Sales
- Respond to all inbound leads within 4 business hours
- Manage the deal pipeline from inquiry to close
- Invoice all closed deals/orders
- Margin eligibility thresholds:
- In-person events (labor included): 50%+
- Catering orders (pick-ups and drop-offs): 70%+
Event + Catering Execution
- Coordinate staffing with GMs for in-person events
- Manage pre-production (inventory, prep, logistics — cart/trailer setup)
- Manage post-production (trailer return, inventory transfers, cleanup)
- Coordinate drop-off fulfillment with GMs; manage delivery for orders over $300
- Coordinate catering pick-up prep and fulfillment with proper notice windows
Compensation
- Base salary: $40,000
- Bonus opportunity: 50%+ of base salary
What We're Looking For
- A creative self-starter who's comfortable being the face of the brand
- Strong content creation skills (photo/video/short-form) and social media savvy
- Sales instincts with the discipline to manage a pipeline from first touch to close
- Highly organized, able to juggle content, outreach, and live event logistics
- Willingness to travel across Surefire locations in Middle Tennessee as needed
