Special Education Tutor Thoreau Elementary SchoolThoreau Elementary School is seeking a caring, collaborative, and flexible Special Education Tutor (ESP) to join our dedicated team of educators. This position primarily provides in-class support to students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) within the general education setting, working alongside classroom teachers and special education teachers to ensure students have access to high-quality instruction and meaningful participation in all aspects of the school day.The successful candidate will be a strong team player who values collaboration and believes in inclusive practices. This individual will work closely with general education teachers, special educators, related service providers, and administrators to support students' academic, social, and behavioral success.A strong understanding of IEPs and the ability to implement accommodations, modifications, and specialized instructional strategies is essential.
