THE ROLE
Win is seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Teacher Aide to support the daily operations of our Childcare program. Reporting to the Head Teacher, the Teacher Aide helps create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Assist in implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum that supports the social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development of children
- Follow Win's philosophy, mission, and goals for the Childcare program
- Participate in required Childcare trainings, both onsite and offsite
- Support a safe, healthy, culturally responsive, and engaging classroom environment
- Adhere to all Department of Health and Mental Hygiene policies and procedures
- Supervise the classroom in the absence of the Head Teacher
- Assist children with meals, toileting, diapering, and hand-washing practices
- Perform classroom housekeeping and sanitation duties
- Prepare learning spaces and materials for STEM and STEAM activities
- Escort children on field trips
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head Teacher
