Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), refrigeration, and appliance systems to prevent breakdowns.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to identify root causes efficiently.
- Repair or replace faulty equipment components, including motors, belts, valves, compressors, and electrical wiring.
- Conduct HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration) system servicing to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to facilitate accurate repairs and installations.
- Assist with construction or renovation projects by installing new equipment or upgrading existing systems.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance logs for accountability and future reference.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Service Technician or Maintenance Technician in a commercial or industrial environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance repair, equipment repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, and general maintenance tasks.
- Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools used for troubleshooting complex systems.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning units and refrigeration is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to lead or assist in construction projects or equipment upgrades is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team under minimal supervision.
- Relevant certifications such as HVAC certification or refrigeration licenses are preferred but not mandatory. Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
