Feuerhelm Langer is a CPA firm with offices in River Falls, Ellsworth and Baldwin, WI. Our professionalism, responsiveness and high standards help us provide quality services to all of our clients. We are looking for an individual who is self-motivated and is looking for new opportunities working with clients. We are looking for an experienced tax preparer for each of our offices.
Responsibilities for this position include:
- Preparation of individual, business, non-profit and trust income tax returns
- Tax projections
- Financial statement preparations and compilations
- Working with directly with clients
- Managing services for multiple clients
Candidates should have the following qualifications:
- Certified Public Accountant or Enrolled Agent license preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field
- At least 7 years of tax preparation experience
- Knowledge of QuickBooks and Excel
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Enjoy working with clients
- Multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a small office environment
This position is full-time. As a CPA firm and a seasonal business, our business demands over-time during tax season, but we pride ourselves on maintaining a work-life balance and we try to keep a maximum of 55-60 hours per week January through April. Our office is closed on Fridays outside of tax season, so while we may work 6 days a week for 4 months, we have a 4-day work-week for the other 8 months.
