Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician (Mechanical + Electrical)
Shift: Night shift (3rd shift)

Roy Tech Environ, Inc. is a plastics recycling and reprocessing company based in Grant, Alabama, specializing in the production of high-quality recycled plastic pellets. Through advanced sorting, washing, shredding, grinding, and pelletizing operations, Roy Tech transforms plastic waste into valuable raw materials for manufacturers across North America and global markets, supporting sustainability and the circular economy.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
- Work with motors, VFDs, sensors, contactors, relays
- Repair gearboxes, bearings, belts, chains
- Keep machines running with minimal downtime
Requirements:
- Experience in industrial maintenance (2+ years preferred)
- Able to read basic electrical diagrams
- Hands-on troubleshooting ability (very important)
- Experience with plastics or recycling equipment is a plus
Preferred:
- Bilingual: Fluent in English and Spanish
- Familiar with Allen-Bradley / PLC basics
- Experience with shredders or extrusion equipment
Pay: $25–35/hour (based on experience)
Note: This role is hands-on during night shift hours (12 am to 8 am). We are seeking someone who can troubleshoot issues on the floor, rather than just replace parts.
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
