We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and hands-on Permanent Maintenance Manager with Foundry experience to join our thriving Manufacturing team. This role is integral to our operations and requires a professional who is comfortable with high-level decision-making, team management, and process improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in preventive maintenance, facility management, and project management, with a keen understanding of budgeting and team leadership.
Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for:

Overseeing and managing all maintenance operations in our foundry, ensuring all machinery and equipment are in top-notch condition.

Developing, implementing, and managing preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.

Managing facility operations, ensuring our infrastructure is secure, efficient, and well-maintained.

Leading and overseeing various projects, including new installations, upgrades, and repairs.

Developing and managing budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness in all maintenance efforts.

Leading a team of maintenance professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance.

Using your welding, hydraulics, and PLC programming expertise to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment issues.

Driving continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Ensuring all operations are compliant with OSHA standards, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Managing hydraulic and electrical systems, ensuring their efficient and safe operation.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance management role in a foundry or similar manufacturing environment.

Proven experience in preventive maintenance, facility management, and project management.

Strong budgeting skills and experience managing budgets.

Demonstrated team leadership abilities, with a track record of leading high-performing teams.

Expertise in welding, hydraulics, and PLC programming.

Experience in process improvement, with a track record of driving efficiency and productivity enhancements.

Strong knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.

A solid understanding of OSHA compliance requirements in a manufacturing environment.

Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information to a variety of stakeholders.

A degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
