Caregiver – In-Home Senior Care
My Choice Senior Care is hiring compassionate and dependable caregivers to provide non-medical in-home care to seniors throughout the Phoenix East Valley.
We are a growing home care agency looking for caregivers who genuinely enjoy helping seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. We are currently adding new clients and are looking for caregivers who can begin accepting assignments soon.
Responsibilities may include:
- Companionship and conversation
- Assistance with bathing, dressing and grooming
- Toileting and other personal care assistance
- Mobility and transfer assistance
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
- Medication reminders
- Transportation and errands
- Respite care and supervision
- Providing dependable, respectful support based on each client's individual care plan
What we're looking for:
- Compassionate, patient and dependable
- Professional appearance and communication
- Comfortable working independently in clients' homes
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license and current auto insurance
- Ability to reliably arrive for scheduled shifts
- Prior caregiving experience preferred
- Experience with dementia, mobility assistance and personal care is a plus
- Must be able to pass applicable background screening
Schedule:
This is initially a part-time position with flexible scheduling. Hours will vary based on client needs and caregiver availability, with opportunities for additional hours as our client base grows. Daytime, evening and weekend availability is a plus.
Pay:
$15.00–$18.00 per hour, depending on experience and assignment.
