We are doing 3-4 weeks out at a time with 3-4 days at home. We have consitant lanes running in the south around Lousiana and all over. We try tk make sure you are around 2-3000 miles every week. I am your recruiter as well as Operations manager so you arent lied tk from the start and have transparency. We have 2019-2022 Volvo and freightliners we need to fill asap.

Duties
- Operate tractor-trailers across regional and long-haul routes, primarily hauling refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or freight loads.
- Safely load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks when necessary.
- Manage route driving responsibilities efficiently, adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of manual transmission trucks to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, and freight details in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and route adjustments.
- Ensure proper handling of specialized freight including refrigerated items, flatbed loads, or tanker cargo while maintaining product integrity.
Experience
- Minimum of two years of commercial driving experience with a valid CDL-A license.
- Proven track record in truck driving, especially in route driving and freight delivery.
- Experience operating manual transmission trucks preferred but not required; willingness to learn is valued.
- Familiarity with various trailer types such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is a plus.
- Prior experience in load & unload procedures and freight handling is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate auxiliary equipment like forklifts when necessary for cargo handling.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to tractor-trailer operation and cargo securement.
